From Hesitation to Habit
DESIGN
There was a time when I genuinely avoided learning new tools. It wasn’t about laziness—it was the overwhelm. New interfaces, different shortcuts, endless tutorials—it felt like too much. Every time someone would recommend something, I’d bookmark it and tell myself “later.” But later kept getting pushed further.
Then came MS—a friend who didn’t let me stay stuck. He never forced anything, just kept showing me what was possible. One day, he said something simple that stuck: “You don’t need to master it. Just open it.” That was the nudge I needed.
Most of the time, the fear isn’t of learning—it’s of starting.
I still remember how Figma once looked like a mess of panels and tools. Now, it’s second nature. The same with Framer, Webflow, and all the others I once resisted. Looking back, I actually laugh at how scared I was. Turns out, the tools weren’t the problem—just the mindset was. And sometimes, all it takes is one good push and someone who believes you can figure it out.
